Mrs. Patrizia Forte, an Italian language and literature teacher at Allende Secondary School in Paderno Dugnano, province of Milan sent the letter to Svetlana Broz on January 4, 2015:

Dear Svetlana,

I got your e-mail address from GARIWO-Milan, on the occasion of a visit to "The Forest of the

Righteous" with my class last November.

My class 3F and I have enthusiastically agreed to the project Adopt a Righteous, and we felt close to

your activity when we heard about your idea of a civil society. Thanks to you, my students are

examining closely the world of the Righteous and are discovering the terrible reality of the war.

In these past months we read all the documents we could find about your activity and your life,

therefore we want you to be the protagonist of a play which will tell about you and your experience

during the war…

We will perform the play about you and your work at the Tilane Library Auditorium in Paderno, on 4th

March 2015, in the evening, in occasion of the "European Day of the Righteous".
