The topic was Role of civil courage in fight against apartheid.  Foundation Imam petlju Gariwo and NGO Gariwo have organized lecture at the Faculty of Political Sciences on 12.04.2010. The topic was Reconciliation through the healing of memories in post-conflict countries. This is the first lecture in a series of lectures, which are organized within the project Reading, thinking and acting civil courage.
The lecturer was Mr. Michael Lapsley charismatic fighter against apartheid in South Africa. Moderator of the lecture was Dr. Svetlana Broz.
The lecture was attended by students of geopolitical studies. Mr. Lapsley shared with students his life story about the struggle against apartheid, and invited students to take active part in creating a just social system in which they live.

NGO Gariwo and Foundation Imam petlju are organizing a guest visit by Michael Lapsley SSM to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time. He is a remarkable person: a charismatic fighter against apartheid in South African Republic, a close collaborator of Nelson Mandela, a living legend who received, activated and survived a letter-bomb. He is the current Director of Institute for Healing of Memories in Cape Town and a brilliant lecturer.
