Formal Policy Working Group for the development and promotion of the Law on Volunteerism in FBiH was established in March of 2009. UNV presides over the group made up of representatives of government and international organizations (OSCE BIH, OKC Banja Luka, CPCD Sarajevo, Sumero Sarajevo, KULT Sarajevo, Osmijeh Gradacac and others).

The group has also gathered more than 50 letters of support from NGOs and other initiatives in the country and the draft of Law on Volunteering was presented to the Federal Commission for Coordination of Youth Issues in November of 2009. Our goal is for it to enter parliamentary procedure in the following two months and the Law to be adopted by the summer of 2010.

Enclosed is the draft of the Law (in B/H/S) .
