| Session with H.E. Tomas Szunyog, Ambassador of Czech Republic in Sarajevo |
![]() On Wednesday, 13.01.2010 in NGO Gariwo and Foundation Imam petlju Gariwo have organized another session of meetings with ambassadors in their offices. On this occasion, H.E. Tomas Szunyog, Ambassador of Czech Republic in Sarajevo talked to students about the available opportunities of studying in Czech Republic and in EU countries.H.E. Mr. Szunyog spoke about scholarship and grant opportunities through International Visegrad Fund, established by Visegrad group composed of Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, a fund with a budget of 5 million Euros for scholarship and grant programs. He emphasized that the Embassy of Czech Republic in Sarajevo has, in cooperation with B&H Ministry of Civil Affairs, developed a web portal studirajvani.ba which contains relevant information about study and scholarship opportunities in EU and the world for B&H students. Moreover, the Embassy of Czech Republic in Sarajevo awards 25 to 30 scholarships to B&H students for studying in the Czech Republic. In the discussion with the students which followed
great interest was shown for the mentioned topics. Hence, the
Ambassador together with Mr. Ognjen Grego, spokesperson of the Embassy
of Czech Republic offered additional information to participants'
detailed questions related to pre-conditions and processes of receiving
scholarships, particular areas of study, recognition of B&H
diplomas and so on.
